About Civil Department

The Department of Civil Engineering has been offering quality diploma education since the academic year 2013–14. The department is committed to providing an excellent learning environment through experienced faculty, modern laboratories, innovative teaching methods, and practical exposure.

The department is supported by a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced faculty members, with each faculty member possessing at least a Postgraduate Degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Faculty members actively participate in Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), seminars, workshops, conferences, and research activities to ensure continuous professional development and quality teaching.

The department integrates classroom learning with laboratory experiments, field visits, technical seminars, workshops, and project-based learning to strengthen students' practical knowledge and technical competence. The curriculum emphasizes analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, professional ethics, teamwork, communication, and lifelong learning.
